Why do we read? Or as students would put it, why do we have to read? Well, I think there will be as many answers as people read the question and decide to give it a go and answer it. So this is the first question I would like you to answer..... Be as sincere as possible....., that will help all of us greatly...... Probably, I will be able to persuade you to do it even if you say you hate it, at least once to see what happens...
Hi! I've always enjoyed reading and if I have to express why I like it so much I would say that books open a new world, different life experiences, different points of view and different attitudes to a same reality. That new world that I can explore through books is a world that goes beyond my reality and that opens myself to new experiences and makes ME feel different every time I am captured by a new story. If we want to enrich our daily life, nothing better than a good book!

ReplyDeleteReading is a fantastic way of exploring our inner being. It´s also a chance of reaching a dimension where emotions , feelings and imagination prevail.Personally, whenever I come across an"unputdownable" story I devote every free minute to reading it. I behave like a compulsive reader and when I finish any good book I do miss "that company" for a day or two.I acknowledge to books the possibility of enlarging my vocabulary and also of getting a different stance on life and culture .
ReplyDeleteWell, for that word "unputdownable"!!!!!! I have never seen it before... Can it be pronounced??!! Ja Ja
ReplyDeleteI love reading! When I was a kid the books I read were sources of neverending gmaes. My sister and I would play the books, something like "Shall we play Little Women?" and we were the characters of the book. Then as a teen, reading served me the purpose of living other lives, I was the main character of each book I read, and I wanted to be like them. Now I read less but I enjoy the novels I read as I plunge into them with the same joy.
